Michail Gorbatschow had been in Denkendorf in summer 1993, which is why they set up this sign for the distance to his hometown.
We stayed at 'Schloss Arnsberg', which used to be a castle or fortress and has been around since the year 1162 (at least).
Very romantic place, great view from the cliff over the Altmuehltal.
